Morning Community Walk - Pedal - Cycle
Liverpool Grove is closed to traffic today before and after school to encourage the pupils and the community of St Peter’s to think of more environmentally friendly ways of coming to school. The children are able to walk, cycle or pedal. It was a lovely morning and children commented that they enjoyed cycling and talking with their friends without worrying about cars on the road. The children enjoyed receiving a free breakfast snack at the school gates thanks to Jo Chattoo and her team at Sustrans. (Sustainable Transport).
Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We are engineers and educators, experts and advocates. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute.
