Spending the day with Roald Dahl

St Peter’s Primary School, Walworth had an amazing day on Friday 30th September as children and staff spent the day dressed up as characters of Roald Dahl books and reading some of the many exciting titles written by this great author.

The children and staff clearly enjoyed every minute as we can see from the picture gallery at the base of this page. Everybody has their favorite Roald Dahl book; however today the children had the opportunity to read, hear and watch tales from a wide range of titles.

At the end of the day, some members of staff read some of their own favorite passages from Roald Dahl books and we also hear a poem that has never been published! The video slide show below is accompanied by this selection of readings from the staff. We hope you enjoy it
