Candlemas Day
February 2nd is Candlemas Day. This ancient festival is the day of the year when candles that were used in Church during the coming year were brought into Church to be blessed. The Children of St Peters’ Primary School all gathered in St Peters’Church, Walworth with Father Andrew to celebrate this joyous day.
