The School Council and Year 6 have raised funds over the year to ship much needed books and learning materials to St John’s in Freetown, Sierra Leone. A kind gentleman who has a shipping company called Hector arrived today to collect our resources. He was so impressed with the children’s efforts and thinking of others’ education that he has offered to waive all shipping costs and personally deliver the goods to St John’s school in Freetown.

We now can use the money the children have raised to pay for tables and chairs to be made for one classroom in the school. A huge well done to everybody who worked so hard to make this happen. The children of St John’s School are going to be so happy when they receive their new books.
